DEPARTURES.
March. 29—Rotorua, for Auckland. Passengers: Messrs. Gray and White. Cargo: 130 «heep,Bond. The schooner Norval arrived in the roadstead on Saturday, from lairoa, with 30,000 feet of timber. It will be recollected that the Norval was wrecked some few months back at Te Kopuni, beyond Tolago Bay, and purchased by Mr. C. D. Berry and Capt. Trimmer. The vessel was repaired, and successfully launched, and, as we understand, is now owned by Messrs. Adair and Berry. The Norval must be a dipper, as in the face of the tremendous weather which has been prevailing, she has managed to make the passage from Tairoa to here in 10 days, out of which it took her six days between here and the East Cape. The 8.8. Rotoraa arrived about 3 o'clock this morning, and got away again at 8.30. She was unable to land her passengers at Napiir, although an attempt was made with the life-boat. The Rotorua had 15 passengers for Napier, 10 of whom were taken oh by her to Auckland.
