This Day. The Mayor sent £700 by cable yesterday to Dublin, towards the Irish Relief Fund. A large number of birds imported by the Acclimatisation Society were liberated yesterday. Amongst them were 50 siskins, which are destructive to grain, but despite much opposition they were set free.
