Mr. Alfred Buckland held a sale of wool at Auckland last week. The sale was not largely attended, but the prices averaged at least one penny beyond the previous sale. There were altogether 87 lots, conconsisting of 275 bags. Longwools brought from 6&d to 7f d ; grease, 3jd to Sid ; half bred ditto, 7d ; washed 6£d to 7d. Several lots realising, as high figures as lOSd, being those of Messrs Woolcock and Son, and Mr. J. Hull. Southdown longwools, 7|d. The prices ruled pretty evenly throughout.
