Will Stand This Season at Makauri- - The Celebrated Clydbsdale Stallinn "AUCKLAND." AUCKLAND is by Major, out of a Lincoln mare. He won the first prize in 1869 as a yearling, beating two-year-old horses. In 1871, as three-year-old, he also carried off the first prize against aged horses. In 1872 he carried off the second prize, being beaten only by President, one of the three newly-imported horses. In 1875 he took the Silver Cup for the best DRAUGHT ENTIRE at the Poverty Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Society's Show. Terms: Single mares, £3 3s. ; two or more the property of the aame owner, as per agreement. Groom's fee, 2s. 6d. All care taken, but no responsibility. THIS THOROUGHBRED HORSE, by Day and Martin out of a Riddlesworth mare, will run with his Mares this Season in the paddocks of the undersigned, at MATAWHERO. Terms :— Single Mare, £2 10s. Two or more the property of the same owner, as per agreement. One month's grass free, after that 2s 6d per week will be charged. All fees to be paid before the removal of mares. Tregeagle was a first-class performer on the English turf, and is without doubt as well bred as any horse in the world. In spite of few opportunities with thoroughbred mares, he is the sire of Tubal Oain, Impudence (winner of the Adelaide Cup), Tolarno, Levant, Device, Superstition, Doctor, and | Talisker, while from inferior mareß he has got such performers as Landsdowne (winner of the V.R.O. Steeplechase), Encounter, Middleton, &c. -- 7 TERMS : £2 single mares ; a reduction made for two or more mares the property of the one owner. Groomage, ss. All fees must be paid before removal of mares. Good paddocking free till notice of removal, after which time 5a per week will be charged. All mares to be removed by the Ist January, 1880. To Stand This Season at Matawhero. rpHE CLYDESDALE ENTIRE "DISRAELI," three years old. He is a grand colt, standing 16 hands high, by Sir Walter Scott (imported) ; dam Blossom by Sir Colin Campbell, out of Scotland's Pride (imported) : by King Fergus (imported.) "DISRAELI" gained the second prize at the Christchurch and Rangiora Shows as a two-year-old. At the Annual Parade of Entires at Christchurch, Mr. Wallis' Pride of Scotland and Sir Walter Scott and Mr. R. Wilkin's Bill Fan Play, attracted the majority of Visitors. "DISRAELI" is a splendid sample of the much admired and appreciated Clydesdale stock, both in Australia and should, be sought after aiid patronised by owners of mares in Poverty Bay.
