As a two-year-old, he took 2nd prize at the Grand National at Melbourne, Ist at Ballarat, 2nd at the Grand National at Smeaton, Ist at Myrniong, Ist at Melton as best entire of any age, and Ist for best two-year-old colt. In 1876, at tlie Hawke's' Bay Show, he took Ist prize m his class ; also, the Champion Prize and tifty guinea Cup as the Best Entire m the yard. In 1877 and 1878 he again took Ist prize and the Champion Prizes at the Hawke's Bay Show. Fee, £6 10s. A reduction made on two or more mares the property of one owner. Paddocking free for one month.
