SHEARING. For shearing two sheep in the most workmanlike manner, the time to be limited to half an hour. No second prize unless four competitors enter, no third prize unless six competitors enter.. Shearing to commence at 2. 30 \). m. First prize, £1 10s ; second prize, £1 ; third prize, 10s. A LEAPING MATCH Will be held at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. A Prize of £5 is offered for the horse that clears the highest bar, not le ss than 4 feet from the ground. Three trials allowed for each rise of the bar. Also, — A Prize of £5 is offered for the horse that is best over three jumps, hedge, water jump, and hurdle. Entrance fee, 10s. There will be no match unless there are four or more ' entries, which may be made with the Secretary on the ground. SPECIAL PRIZE. £5 5s is offered by Mr G. L. Sunderland, to be given to the winner of most prizes in Horses, Cattle, and Sheep. To score by points, 2 points allowed for first prize, and 1 point for second prize. All Entries for the forthcoming Show to be sent in, properly described and classed, to the Secretary, addressed Masonic Hotel, not later than eight o'clock on SATURDAY EVENINO, October 25. All the exhibits ahall be delivered at the appointed place at or before 9 a.m. , on the day of tho Show. All hacks entered in any of the classes shall be ridden before the Judges if required. All owners of Bulls and Entire Horses , shall take- oharge of them personally or by deputy throughout the proceedings. The Show will be open to the public at 12 o'clock noon.
