A fatal accident occurred at Larriken's Terrace yesterday. Three men named Cochrane, Niven, and Oakey,were putting in a new chamber when the shaft collapsed, burying all three. A number of miners set to work in relays, and got Cochrane out not much injured, and Niveu had got into an old drive and was safe, though up to a late hour last night •was not released. Oakey was quite dead.
