POVERTY BAY DISTRICT HIGHWAY BOARD. AT a meeting of ratepayers held on the 20th September, 1879, convened by the Hon. Colonial Secretary, m Gazette of 28fch August, 1879, the following gentlemen were elected TRUSTEES for the ensuing year :— MESSRS. W. KING (Chairman), G. DAYIS, E. CAMERON, C. DUNN, and F. ARCHARD. A resolution was passed by the meet, ing, that the Board be requested, to defer calling on the whole of the rate for the present, and it was agreed that a FIRST INSTALMENT of SIXPENCE m the POUND shall be due and payable before the 30th September, at the store of Messrs.
