TT*NDER and m pursuance of the LJ powers and authorities vested m me by an Act of Province of Auckland intituled " The Highways Act, 1874," and by " The Abolition of Provinces Act, 1875," I, Hercules George Robert Robinson, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby notify that I do hereby bring the said " Highways Act, 1874," into operation m the Patutahi Highway District ; and I further notify that I do hereby appoint the twenthieth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and seventynine, at 2 o'clock p.m., at the Residence of Mr. Francis Bee, Patutahi, to be the day, hour, and place for the first meeting of ratepayers for the said district ; and I appoint " .
