DEPARTURES.
August. 12— Rotorua, s.s. Tozer, master, for Melbourne, via Southern Ports. Passengers : — Mr. and Mrs. Pickersgill, Mr. Frazer and child, and Mr. and Mrs. Clifton.
The Union Co.'s s.s. Rotorna, Captain James Tozer, arrived m the Bay from Sydney and Auckland, at '10 a.m. to-day. She left left Sydney at 2:15 p.m. on the 2nd ; arrived at the Bay of Islands 6 a.m. on the 7th ; sailed 2 p.m. same day, audarrived at Auckladd 3 a.m. Sth ; sailed 4.30 p,m. 10th, but owing to the thick dirty weather, anchored under Rangitoto until 2 a. in. 11th ; arrived off Taurauga 1 p.m. same day, but m consequence of the heavy sea, was unable to communicate with the shore ; resumed her voyage at 3 p.m., arriving as "above. From Sydney to Auckland fine weather, thence to arrival, heavy seas. We have to thank .Mr. C. Keeble, purser, for report and files.
