WELLINGTON.
This Day. The charge of perjury against Mr. J. G. Kinross was continued m the RM.'s Couit on Saturday and was adjourned to June 10th. Parliament is. called to meet on 11th of June (?) Gleich, the Adelaide absconding bankrupt, was released from gaol last night, the Court of appeal having decided that the Foreign Offenders' Act is ultra vires. The experiment of lighting the trains on the Wellington and Featherston Railway with gas manufactured en route has proved successful, and the system will probably be applied to all railways.
