WHAT SHOULD SHE DO ?
+, . We have received the following communication from a well-known correspondent resident m Gisborne. After explaining the matter, . as will appear here, the writer concludes with the words :— " What should she do?" and then saya " will some of your readers offer an opinion ?" The matter for opinion is this :-^-"Miss A,, a young lady lately engaged herself to a young gentleman, who I shall call B. She received her parents' consent and both are exceedingly, devoted to each other. Some short; while back the gentleman, through stress of bad times, found he was not nearly so well off, m a worldly point of view, as he had believed himself to be. He wished to marry the young lady, but the parents interfered and refused to allow the match to take place. A» Miss A , is considerably under age, she cannot legally marry, although she has all the wish to fulfil her engagement — What should she do ?" This is what our correspondent wishes some of the Herald readers to say. We hope the opinions expressed, if they come to hand will be brief.
