UNION COMPANY'S NEW BOAT.
Wellington, This Day. The Union Company have purchased m Glasgow a fine steamer named the Penguin, to takethe place of the ill-fated Taupo on the NeWZealand coastal service, The Penguin is described as very similar m size, power, rig, and build to the Hawea. She left Glasgow on the 29th April for Dunedin, and may be expected to arrive at that port about the end of next month.
