Its owner was at breakfast, when a friend, seated on the opposite side of the table, knowing him to be a little near-sighted, remarked, "There's a fly on the end of your nose. " "Is tliere V ' responded the ownev of the horn :of plenty. ' ' I didn't know it. Just please scare him off ; you're nearer to him than lam." .
