WELLINGTON.
This Day. A Gazette last night notifies the dismissal of Henry Jackson, chief surveyor, Wellington provincial district. A man named Alexander Ramsay fell down dead m Greytown to-day. Three litttle children named Hill were charged at the Wellington Resident Magistrate's Court to-day as being neglected children. Their father is a billiard marker, and deserted them and their mother, who is ill. They were all mother and children, m a state of great destitution.
