CONFERENCE MEETING.
At a meeting of the Borough and County Conference held this afternoon, the following resolution was carried :— " That in the opinion of this Conference having in view the future requirements of the district and borne out in their opinion by the Borough and County Engineer, that a permanent railway be laid down."
