WELLINGTON.
This Day. A well attended public meeting was held last night to arrange for the reception of the new Governor. A large and influential committee was appointed. It was determined to invite the Governor and Lady Robinson to a public ball. Liberal sums were guaranteed in the room towards the expenses.
