BRISBANE.

This Day. John Elder, from the Cape brings papers to the 22nd February.

The destruction of the head camp at Isandal Mana, was caused through the absence of cavalry and mismanagement of the forces. There were 800 Europeans and they had plenty of ammunition. The artillery should have been entrenched when they were attacked by the Zulus. It is now decided that it is necessary to establish a superiority of the whites for the sake of colonial interests which are jeopardised.
