SYDNEY.

Yesterday. The Bonnie Dundee, which was run down by the screw steamship Barrabool, bound from Newcastle to Sydney, sunk m four minutes after being struck. The Bteamer's boats were lowered, but six persons were drowned. The screams of the women were dreadful. Four of these were drowned, while the bodies floated on the water. The crew and officers were saved.

This Day. Mrs. and Miss Brown and two other females were drowned by the steamer accident.

There must have been awful carelessness. It was bright moonlight when accident occurred, with a clear sky. The Governor's departure has been postponed till Monday.
