Dunedin, March 9. Hennessy's brandy is commanding no sales below 345, and French makers are coming into prominence. Oats are in Blight demand at 2s lOd to 3s for new, and 2s 8d to 2s 9d for old. There are no arrivals of barley. The share market is dull- and falling, the highest price obtainable for Bank of New Zealand shares being £17 10s. Cheistchubch, March 9. Wheat, first class for milling, commands 3s 2d to 3s 3d ; oats, no alteration ; barley, still in request, first-class samples readily taken up at 6s j flour remains unchanged at last week's quotations, £8 to £9, according to brand. Fat cattle £4 2s 6d to £12 ; sheep, 6s to 9s 3d; fat lambs, 4s 6d to 7s. The demand for horses cannot be said to be very brisk, although there have been numerous sales ; best heavy draughts are worth £50 to £60 ; medium, £38 to £45 ; hacks and harness horses, £18 to £25. Cows in calf, £7 to £8 ; fat cows, £7 7s 6d ; two-year-old steers, £7 10 ; two-year-olds, £5 to £6 ; store cows, £4 ss, to £5 5s ; store lambs, 6s ; wethers, 8s 6d ; halffat ewes, Bs.
