GREYTOWN.

March 4. Another most destructive fire broke out at Masterton about two o'clock this morning, destroying a large block of valuable buildings including the newly erected Bank of Australasia. The following buildings were destroyed : — Williams and Cameron, saddlers ; Wilton, seedsman ; a boarding, house, and other business places. Further particulars are not yet to hand, as the telegraph line is down. Th» Fire Brigade worked Bplendidly, and stopped the progress of the fire. The following are the insurances on the buildings and goods destroyed : — South British, £100 ; Victoria £100 1 New Zealand, £250 ; North British and Mercantile, £2,250 ; Standard, £1,200 ; Northern, £900 ; National, £2,350 ; Sun, £500. It is reported that a good deal of stock has been saved.
