WAIROA.

This Day. A fire broke out at four o'clock this morning totally destroying the business premises of Parker, saddler ; Flint, storekeeper ; Jonsen, tailor ; Davies, builder. In addition a small store, belonging to Gilligan, had to be pulled down to save Flint's Hotel. Insurances on the buildings and contents amount to £540 m the New Zealand Company, but further risks had been taken by the National. Amount unknown.
