COMMERCIAL.
Harvest operations are now in full swing in most parts of South Canterbury. The crops, as a whole, are looking excellent. No deliveries of new grain worth speaking of have taken place, and prices are nominally 3s 6d to 3s 9d for wheat, and 2s 9d to 3s 3d for oats. Barley will open at a high price. The weather is splendid for harvesting works.
