♦ (Special to the P.B. Herald.) Auckland, Yeßterday. The R.M.S.S. City of Sydney arrived shortly before 1 a.m. and left 'Frisco on the afternoon of the 23rd. Had gales and moderate weather to Honolulu, which was made m 6 days 21 hours, the fastest ever done. On the 11th. 460 miles from Auckland, the crank pin broke, which was repaired, as well as possible, and started again at five knots. Up to the time of the accident the engines never worked better, the ship having averaged 301 miles per day for seventeen consecutive days from ' Frisco. It was an almost unparalleled run. She brings 128 tons of cargo for New Zealand. ,• ;.;.-n
