FOUNDERING OP THE PIZARRO.
Particulars have been received at Cork of the foundering at sea, on August 11, of the Spanish frigate Pizarro, It appears that m long. 57, lat. 37.30, the Italian barque Carlo Frugoni observed signals of distress. She hove-to and waited until daylight, when she found that the Spanish man-of-war was m a sinking condition. The crew of the latter came off m boats, but did not reach the barque until the evening. They were then m such an exhausted condition that they had to be hoisted on board the latter vessel. The Bteamer sank soon afterwards, and her crew saved nothing but what they stood m.
