MISS J MORRISON HONOURED

A gift evening was held at the “Manse" recently, by the Girls' Auxiliary and friends, in honour of Aliss Jean Alorrison, whose marriage takes place this month. The drawing room was beautifully decorated with dahlias and carnations. Several interesting and amusing competitions were held during the evening. Miss E. Wall, president of the Girls' Auxiliary, asked Aliss Alorrison to accept the gifts with the best wishes of all those present and wished her every happiness for the future. Aliss Alorrison, replying, thanked everyone for 'the useful gifts. Thte guest of honour wore a frock of brightly-patterned sheer. Among those present were: Alesdames E. E. E. Ross, G. AlcGrcgor, W. Aluir, A. E. Castle, D. Robertson, R. McDonald, E. Wall, Alisses Jean Alorrison, Jean AtcHtmald, Anne Davis, Vivienne Aiken, Dulcie Pvout, Alma Wall, Nancy Heginbotham, Alargaret Middleton.
