The Central Cash Stores notify that tbeir now stocks of Christmas goods have arrived and they 'are confident of being able to satisfy customers in all linos. Tenders are invited in this issue for the erection (in wood and iron of a workshop and meter-testing room, and also for the construction of an outfall from the Borough septic tank. Those intending to travel overseas should make a point of communicating with Messrs C. F. Millward and Co., Wanganui, who will furnish them with full particulars with regard to fares, tailings etc. The public of Patea and district arc cordially invited to attend the opening of ■ the local Centennial Memorial which takes place at the Beach on Saturday, December 2nd., at 2 p.m. Air.
