OTHER PASSENGERS HURT

:T\vo people wove killed and two others injured when the sedan motor car in which they wore riding struck the Opua-Auekland express at a level crossing just north of the AVaitakercrailway station about 4 p.m. on Uriel a v afternoon. The victims were brought to Mount laden on the train. Two were dead on arrival and the Other two were admitted to hospital. The victims arc: KILLED.

JAMES HIGG, aged 50, single, drive; employed by the Auckland City Council, living at Remucra. CHARLES AYANDERSON, aged 4::, single, retired railway worksite; employee, living at Newmarket. INJURED. FRANK IMPLY, aged -15, married, Mo-Ujiit Roskill, concussion and fracture of the arm; condition fairly serious. GERTRUDE McGEE, aged 47, widow, Herne Bay, fracture of the elbow and hand; condition not serious.
