RIFLE SHOOTING
THE PALMER CUP. The final competition for the above svas fired on the local rifle range on Saturday last. ‘The conditions were good, and some good scores were recorded, the best being Rifleman I. Macdonald’s 47 at 200yds and Rifleman J. Cunningham’s 46 at 300yds. The following arc the scores: —
CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP. The club championship is nearing completion, and the following are the leading totals, with one more score to count at 500yds and (500yds each:— ,C. Cunningham, 0-19. A. Campbell, 635. C. Carey, 631. P. Palmer, 631. S. Macdonald, 631.
