A verdict that death was due to chloroform anaesthesia self administered was returned at the inquest m Wednesday on Dr. Herbert Guy Aloser, aged 12, who was found dead in !i'; ■ surgery at Masterton on Tuesday afternoon. The evidence went to show that Moser was in unusually bright and cheerful spirits earlier in the day and had no Jinancial or domestic worries, but he suffered from hay fever and occasional attacks of faintness. When found iu the surgery he was lying on a couch with 'his head and face covered with oiled silk, and there was : piece of cotton wool lying near him.
