THREE VERSONS BURNED

EE MEB FROM BENZINE LG XI T ED. WELLINGTON WASH-HOUSE EI. HE Three people were burned, one of them severely, through a lire in the wash-house attached to a house at Miramar, Wellington. The fire is said to have started through a naked light coming in contact with benzine vapour. The people were cleaning clothes with •benzine. The house was owned and occupied by 'Mr. J. L. Allen, who was burnt slightly on the loft hand and forearm n attempting to deal with the blaze. Mrs. A. Allen was burnt on the loft hand, arm, face, and .neck. Miss H. I. Hand received severe burns to the race, neck, hands, and arms.
