The final croquet match for Mrs. Hodgson’s trophy was played on "Wednesday afternoon, when ‘Mrs. Pepper beat Mrs. Mitealfe, 2(1-7. Miss Wood, who has been visiting her sister, Mrs. C. E. Johnston, in Wave-rley, leaves for Wellington on Saturday and will leave later for England, where she intends spending some time.
