The titizcns of tSydnoy have sweltered for the past three days, says a message at the week-end. The humidity has> been terrific. A tierce hot wind on February 20, while banishing the mugginess, drove the mercury to .104 degrees at 2.10 in the afternoon, intensifying the discomfiture and causing many people to collapse. The weather cooled off toward the evening, the respite being very welcome.
