MOTOR SMASH AT TE KUITI
Till;EE CABS IN COLLISION. GIRL AND THREE MEN INJURED. A motor collision occurred at the conclusion of the Tc Kuiti races on Monday, when three cars met in a Jioad-oi collision. One car, driven by E. E. East, o! Taumarunui, when attempting to pass a car driven by Joe Hoc, swerved on to the middle of the road and collided head-on with a car driven by W. InnesJones, a taxi driver. Three men passengers in East's car whose names arc unknown, were injured, two, it is believed. seriously. They were put on the north-bound train, A young girl named Henderson, who resides in To Kuiti. and who was also riding in East's car, sustained a ibamken shoulder bone and other minor injuries.
