RIFLE SHOOTING.
WAVER LEV V. PATE A. The team 'representing the local Rifle Club journeyed to \\ avorley on Saturday last and fired a match with the Waverley Club, and a very enjoyable afternoon avas 'spent. The match was very interesting, Pa tea winning by 27 points. Although the 'weather was good the light was very bright, and proved troublesome to some of; the competitors. The conditions were 7 shots at SOOyds and 900yds. 9 men aside, the S highest to count. The following arc the scores: —
