THli WAVHHJ.EY CLUB. The lirst two rounds of a full-rink 14-hcad competition was played on Saturday afternoon, throe rinks competing. Members evinced a keen interest in the competition, and several close finishes wore witnessed. The
competition will consist of four games of II heads, with a trophy to the rink winning the most games. Results of Saturday’s games arc as follows: — Wicks, two wins. Dallison, two wins. Nicholls, one win and one loss. Mathieson one win and one loss. Janies, one win and one loss. R. P. Palmer, two losses.
•SINGLES CHAMPIONSHIP. In order to stimulate keener interest among the players, it is intended to run a singles championship under a scaled handicap during the present season.
