HOUSEHOLD HINTS.

When boiling a suet pudding, put three •or four pieces of orange peel in the water. They collect all the grease; the pudding boils quicker; it is lighter; aud the pudding cloth comes away clean and is no trouble to wash. Tiles will look like new if they are wiped with a cloth wrung out of skim milk, or polished with a furniture cream.

.Save all old corks, as they arc very useful in making a fire burn brightly.
