URN OF ANCIENT BONE

EXCAVATED AT OAERLJ3ON. Workmen excavating on tho sate of tho Homan burial ground at Caerlcon, half-a-mile from tho amphitheatre, recently discovered a small chamber which contained a lead urn 2ft high and loin in diameter. The chamber .was nearly full of human bones and teeth, which were in a poor state of preservation. Tho Homan amphitheatre was secured for the nation with the aid of funds provided by the “Daily Mail.”
