PUBLIC BEQUESTS. By the ,will of the Tate ilr. Newton King the sum of £IO,OOO has been bequeathed to the controlling bodies of four public parks, tnc bequests being as under: — £3OOO to Pukekura X’ark, this amount to be invested nnd the income derived devoted, to maintenance and general improvement of the p„ark. £3OOO to the North Egmout Hostel Committee. £2OOO to the committee of Kawaroa Park, New Plymouth. £2OOO to the committee of the East End Bathing Reserve, New Plymouth.
