NO CONCESSION

UN HOSPITAL CHARGES. FLOCK HOUSE REQUEST REJECTED. A request was .received from the Flock’House trustees by the Palmerston North Hosjutal Board that boys of that institution admitted to the hospital should be treated fords 6d a day, which was the rate charged for a boy inmate now at the King George Hospital, instead of IQs. The board decided that the request could not be acceded to. In reviewing the situation Sir James G. Wilson explained that the Flock House area was in the Wanganui Hospital Board's district, but residents usually visited Palmerston North doctors, and as a consequence attended that hospital. There was a movement on foot he believed to attach the district to Palmerston North,' but he was not acquainted with the. details. The trustees’ request should really be submitted to Wanganui.
