TONES; .TO Choice JERSEY HEIFERS, close up PATEA COUNTY COUNCIL R A UKAPIKO-KAHUEOA LOAN, £IOOO At a Special Meeting of the Patea County Council, held on Tuesday, 14th day of August, 1923, the following resolution was duly passed as a Special Order; — ‘ ‘ THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in it in that behalf by the ‘Local .Bodies Loans Act, 1913, ’ the Patea County Council hereby resolves by M ay of Special Order to raise a loan of £IOOO with a currency of 3GI years for the purpose, of metalling for the lirst time the Baukapiko and Lower Kahuroa Beads, the ratepayers of the Eaukaplko-Kahu-roa Special Eating District having signihed their assent in the form prescribed by No. 9 of the Regulations issued under “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913/ to the raising of the said loan and to the pledging of a Special Bate of ONETHIED of one x>ouuy (l-3rd of Id) iu the pound to provide for the repayment of principal and interest of the said loan in accordance with Section (18 of the above-mentioned Act, and also consent to the pay* ment of the cost of raising the loan and of the lirst year’s Interest and Sinking Baud out of the loan.” The foregoing resolution Mas duly adopted at a Special Meeting of the Patea County Council held on the 14th day of August, 1923, and. will be conliriucd at a subsequent meeting to bo held ou the 11th day of September, 1923.
