WAVERLEY TOWN BOARD

ORDINARY MEETING The ordinary monthly meeting of the Waverley Town Board was held on Wed nesday Mr. A. J. Adlam presiding. Messrs Davis, Irvihg, Christensen and Beer were also present. The minutes of the previous mooting were read and confirmed. The Chairman welcomed Mr. Irving to the Board and expressed the hope that they would all work in harmony for the benefit of the town generally. Mr. Irving suitably replied. Correspondence was read us under: — Mr. J. B. Fitzgibbon wrote pointing out the bad state of tho fences leased by him and asking the Board fto put them in order. It was decided that owing to the low state of the Board's finances only temporary repairs can lie carried out for the present. Mr. Christensen was appointed to supervise the work. Accounts totaling £10!)/7/-t were read and passed for payment and the Board rose.
