WAVERLEY DOMAIN BOARD
The same members sat as the Wavcrley Bo main Board. Air. Davis reported that no further word had been received from 'the Tennis Club in regard to the horse paddock Messrs. Dalgefy and Co., Ltd., wrote asking if the transfer of their saleyard section to Mr. F. J. Christensen had been agreed to. A lengthy discussion took place on the conditions of the lease, after which it was decided on the motion of Mr. Oliver, seconded by Mr. Christensen, (hat Messrs. Dalgefy and Co. bo informed that the Board is agreeable to ;t sub-lease, but mot to an assignment. Mr. Davis again brought up the question of noxious weeds, particularly ragwort. He had not heard of anything from the Inspector since his visit. It teas resolved that the Clerk write to tin 1 .Stock Inspector and ask him if anything was being done. The chairman said he would like to see the German gun placed on a concrete base. The clerk said they could not get any cement yet. Mr. Boer: Have the Board tried to secure the cement. Air. Davis said it could only be got for essential purposes. it was decided that Air. Davis be authorised to secure three bags of cement if possible. This concluded the business, and the meeting adjourned.
