NOTES

Another stop forward in the progress of the town will be marked on Monday next by the opening of the new building recently built by Mr. R. P. Palmer and which will "be utilised as a grocery store in future. The building presents a very lint; appearance and serves to show in a measure that at least one of the business men of the town is possessed of a progressive policy in regard to business matters. With one or two more shops such as Mr. Palmer’s, Wavcrlcy residents should not have to go outside the town for any of their everyday requirements. We congratulate Mr. Palmer on his enterprise and trust that it will meet with the full measure oi success that it deserves.
