WORLD'S PICTURES.

"THE SLACKER" There are many kinds of "slackers" other than war slackers and this picture deals with the bitter experience of a woman faced with a man's cowardice No woman likes to know that the man she loves; the man she marries is a moral and physical coward —- and Margaret Christy, the heroine of this magnificent six-reel Metro special, faces such" im experience. It is patriotic of course, but it is even greater than that it is human, and the story will be found as interesting now as when the war was on. The picture is brilliantly produced, wonderfully acted, and the story grips with its human interest and well developed plot.
