The popularity of Mr and Mrs J Gobme was demonstrated the other evening, when a surprise party numbering 30, paid them a visit. To say that they were made welcome needs no telling, The evening was first spent in euchre and afterwards singing, reciting, games and dancing were indulged in up till the early hours of the morning. , . „ . At the close .Mr Tong on hr half of the party Mr and Mrs Ccbino for their kindness and for the hearty way they bad received the guests. ;i The singing of “ Amid Lang bvno brought to a close, what was declan d by all present to be one of the finest evenings spent in Kakaramca for a long time.
