I One of the most enjoyable evenings ever spent in the Hail was that of last Wednesday when a concert and dance was held in aid of the Bazaar fund of St. Stephen’s Ohmch. Upwards of 80 guests were present from all parts and were load in their praises of the successful manner iu which the function was carried out. The concert programme which was enthusiastically received was con* tribuied to by the following -Mr and Mrs Taylor, Mr B Taylor, Miss Taylor, Misses M. and (jK Coleman, Miss Drury, Mrs Hone, Mr D. Robertson, Miss Hunter, Mrs Campbell and Mias Honkinson playing the overture. the conclusion of me conceit programme, the door was cleared for dancing which was kept up till the t early hours. The music for the dance was kindly supplied by Mr B Taylor (piano) and Mr Cole (violin. ’ A bountiful supper was provided by the ladies and done full jusiice to by all. , As a result of the function the bazaar funds will be considerably augmented and the Committee who had charge of arrangements are to be heartily congratulated ou the success of their efforts.
