Tho presentation to Mr and Miss McKenzie took place r.t the vVaitotara Hall on Thursday afternoon. A largo number of hdies worked hard to make tho *■ At botne” a success and to that end completely transformed tbe supper room ot tho Hall into a drawing room and arranged for a series of competitions for tho afternoon The presentation took the form of a beautiful silver tea service on a bronze tray and was much admired. A meeting of settlers will be held in the Waitotara Hall on Saturday afternoon when Mr Q. V Pearce will be present to discuss tbe question of metal for the Rangitatau Road,
