PATEA FIRE BRIGADE.
A meeting of the Fire Brigade was held last evening after a " wet" practice, Capt. Glenny presiding. Seasonable greetings were received from a number of brigades, and reciprocated. Mr L. Stemp was elected fire brigade messenger.
It was decided to erect a practice platform in the Domain to enable members to get into form for the demonstrations to be held early in the New Year.
