The only monetary contributions asked for from the public will be for Fireworks and small general expenses, and any who wish to subscribe a small amount (and who may be overlooked by the Canvassers) are ashed to notify me. The Programme generally will include— Volunteer Parade at 10.30 a.m. Church Services (combined), 11 a.m. Procession to Domain 2 to 4 p.m.— (when Fancy Dress Hockey Match, Native Entertainment, Tableaux, and other amusement will be provided). ‘ Tea for Children of the District at Hall, 4.30 to 6 p.m. (to be provided by the ladies). Bonfires, Fireworks (opposite Central), Eire Brigade, Tableaux, Illuminations, etc., 6,30 to 8 p.m. The Public are asked to make as effective an illumination as possible in shops, etc. Permanent Memorial to bo erected, the nature and extent of which will be decided at once. Ladies will kindly meet at Borough Chambers on Tuesday, 3rd June, at 3 p.m. to arrange for providing tea. Committee rvill meet on Monday evening at 7 and Tuesday evening at 7.
